I did not resize the pictures of that Batangas trip. I now find it annoying to have those pictures appear so big in my blog. I am so lazy to re-post all of those pictures. So here I am putting that post in this other blog. An easy one for a lazy gal.

Batangas! Pictures!

Finally, I have uploaded all (almost all) our Batangas pictures!

Courtesy of Princess, we went to this very far and almost secluded place in Batangas. It was a long travel indeed, with eight of us and many many grocery items plus the driver overloading their car, and a maximum speed limit of 60 km/hour. We could not go faster. I know the driver and the car could not make that faster, having experienced driving an overloaded car myself.

The start of our journey was already fun - from buying grocery to stuffing ourselves inside the vehicle to traveling along a not so familiar high way. Though I had stomachache, probably due to hunger.

Then came the "uphill" of rough road. Already overloaded, some of us (seven of us) get off the car and walked that long stretch of rough road. We had to climb up and down, turn left and right, with all the rocks and stones and mountain sands (I don't know what type of soil was that). The sight was beautiful so it was still fun.

We had time to take pictures, of course! Here they are:

Chris Cruz, making sure every capture has him captured. Hehe.

These are taken at the start of that rough road, so we were not yet so sweaty and tired.

Here are our pictures after some, rather many minutes of walking up and down that road...

By then JD, Donald, Rojo and Chris were ahead of us. I would have wanted to include a picture of the trees and plants and leaves and branches that I took, but the picture was bad. It doesn't look as beautiful as I saw it in real.

Okay, so we arrived at the resort: Palm Beach. As Chris said, the last resort. It may not be the last resort on that road, but it felt like the last resort after passing by so many other resorts before arriving at our destination.

I have no intention of writing every detail of what we did. I'll just post the pictures from my camera. The pictures understate what we really had there though.

The night we played very competitively. Go Fish, Charades, 123 Pass. I hurt myself playing cards. That competitive.

There we saw Chris, His Competitiveness. No wonder he's the highest magna, the no. 2 in our batch.

The next morning...

The pictures show Bebang doing the cooking. It was JD and Donald who actually cooked breakfast for us though. They cooked. Chris also did. And whoever wanted to show he or she fries the eggs best.

Now I want to share this. Chris deep fries the eggs! (Hehe..peace!). After seeing what he did, there came the competitive atmosphere again!

It was not a sunny morning, it was so dark. I liked the 'grayness' of the sky and the sea I wanted to take a picture. As I've written earlier, Chris wants to every capture has him captured, so even if the light's not good, here's the photos with a beautiful background.

The rain stopped fortunately, making way for the sun to give us enough light and heat. The clouds were good anyway. The summer heat became bearable.
Before heading toward the beach, kayaking ang pretending to swim, here are a couple of pictures.

It was fun!

We had to eat dinner. It was a feast! (Supposedly.) We had chicken and pork barbeque, soup, eggplant and tomato salad, melon, grilled fish. Yummy. We were so hungry.

I think Ed doesn't want this picture. I still did not delete it. Hehe.

Sweet dreams!

The next morning (it was Friday the 13th!)...

Time to pack our bags.

These morning's pictures were taken by my friends (I'm not sure who, but probably Ed, Rojo, and/or Donald.) I like these photos - stolen and so real. =)

Who took this picture?

Finally, the only good picture I took on our way home. I did my best to take a good one with the bumpy ride. It felt good that on our way out of that faraway place, I rode the car.

Thanks Princess for making this memorable vacation possible! =)

P.S. I did not realize the pictures would end up that big.
